The British Prime Minister has become the subject of ridicule yet again on social media, this time, due to a staffer’s questionable photoshop skills.
First it was #piggate, but on Wednesday the #poppygate scandal reached 10 Downing Street after a photo posted to Facebook unsuccessfully depicted David Cameron with a poppy pinned to his lapel.
But sadly, the doomed post didn’t quite pass the test when it came to public opinion.

Soon after it was posted, Dylan H Morris tweeted a photo of Mr Cameron’s updated profile picture with the words: “Has the official 10 Downing Street Facebook page photoshopped a poppy onto David Cameron for their new picture?”
He followed with the original image, as posted by the PM’s office in July.
A Downing Street spokeswoman later told IBTimes UK: “It was an oversight by a member of the team and a new picture has been put up.”
The new image, apparently with a poppy in the photo before it was uploaded to a computer, is below.
But social media users were not keen to let the PM off too easily, posting their own versions of the photoshop gaffe.
The Remembrance poppy has been used to recognise soldiers who died at war since 1921.
