Norwegian man Marius Larsen is desperate to find someone to shake it off with at Sydney’s Taylor Swift show in late November.
The 30-year-old moved to Sydney from Norway in August, but is yet to find the perfect plus one to fill a blank space next to him at the concert.
“Before leaving my home country, my friends for some reason gave me two tickets for a upcoming Taylor Swift concert in Sydney. Probably because I used to sing and dance to that song,” he posted with a video appealing for a fellow Swift fan to join him.

“The people back home expect me to bring a date. I’ve been trying to find someone, but still haven’t had any luck. It would be such a crushing defeat if I have to tell them I had to give up and go alone to the concert.”
In true style, he made a YouTube video to help find a mate – either friendly or romantic – to fearlessly enjoy Swift’s upbeat tunes.
The video’s initial shots show a smiling and happy Larsen in Norway with his friends, before his adventure to Australia leaves him alone.
“Of course, I have made some friends here, but they are just not the kind of friends you would bring to a Taylor Swift concert,” he said, to images of himself with a peacock and a kangaroo.
“I’m getting desperate.”
