Two Air France flights travelling out of the US have been redirected after reports of security threats.
One flight heading from Los Angeles to Paris was diverted due to a “security incident”, US aviation officials said.
The second Air France Flight 65 triggered a forced landing at Salt Lake City after a bomb threat was called in from the ground, a US Federal Aviation Administration spokesman told CNN.

Both aircraft landed safely, according to CNN.
There is no additional information on the incident, although it is understood the flight was evacuated.
CNN reported on Tuesday that the first flight was diverted to Salt Lake City, Utah, after taking off from Los Angeles, while, the second left Washington and was diverted to Halifax, Canada.
A Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokeswoman confirmed to that flight 65 was diverted to Salt Lake City.
“It landed safely,” she said but declined to comment on the reported security threat.
“Passengers are being removed from flight. No word on why flight diverted,” Canada’s CBC said on Twitter of the jet that landed in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Social media comments alluded to an emergency landing of the jet that left Los Angeles, saying it had touched down in Utah, with many police cars on the tarmac.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a bomb threat in Germany on Tuesday (local time) caused a friendly international soccer match between Germany and the Netherlands to be called off 90-minutes prior to the start time.
