The Gold Coast Titans have scored 32 unanswered points to beat the Penrith Panthers 32-6 in front of a handful of fans in Robina.
Boom Panthers rookie Waqa Blake put the visitors on the board when he crossed in th seventh minute, Matt Moylan’s conversion would be the last time they troubled the scorers.
Titans centre Will Zillman touched down 10 minutes later before ex-Bronco Josh Hoffman got his first four-pointer with his new club in the 28th minute, allowing the hosts to take a 10-6 lead to the break.
In-form speedster James Roberts put the Titans into a strong position with his try 10 minutes from full-time and Hoffman put the result beyond doubt when he scored his second in the 75th minute.
Zillman then put the icing on the cake, running 90 metres to score after batting down a Penrith kick.
More to come.
