Kate Hudson’s McConaughey impression is spot on

Kate Hudson knows her two-time costar Matthew McConaughey a little too well.

The actress paid tribute to her longtime friend in a speech at the American Cinematheque Gala, in which she delivered a perfect impersonation of the actor.

Sharing a story about the pair’s time scuba diving for the 2008 film ‘Fool’s Gold’, Hudson recounted how McConaughey helped her through a particularly difficult time after her divorce.

“I had just found out that my divorce had been finalised, I was terrified of swimming with sharks and I was just staring at the water like ‘what’s happening with my life?’ And out of the water pops Matthew…”
