Supermarket chain Aldi is recalling some of its freezer favourites, amid fears the products may contain glass.
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand issued the recall on Monday for the 750-gram packets of Urban Eats Japanese Style Vegetable Gyoza.
They have been sold in Aldi stores in NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. The affected dumplings have a best-before date of March 27, 2027.
“The recall is due to the presence of foreign matter (glass),” FSANZ said.
Consumers have been warned not to eat the product. It should be returned to where it was bought for a full refund.
“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” FSANZ said.
More information is available from Aldi’s food recall hotline on 1800 709 993 or at the supermarket chain’s website.
