Pharrell cries ‘Happy’ tears

Pharrell Williams has shown his appreciation for his global fan base after breaking down in tears during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The talk show host showed the 41-year-old singer a video of fans around the world singing to his hit song Happy, causing the music megastar to promptly tear up.

“It’s overwhelming,” the singer admitted. “I love what I do and I appreciate the fact that people have believed in me so long that I could make it to this point.”
