High-profile lawyer Tom Percy appeared on behalf of Edelsten in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, when the matter was adjourned until next month pending legal advice.
“She’ll probably enter a plea next time,” Mr Percy told AAP.
The US-born Edelsten is best known for her marriage to Australian businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, who was 40-years older than her when they wed in a lavish $3 million affair at Melbourne’s Crown Casino in November 2009.
The pair split last year, with Brynne citing her former husband’s dalliance with another woman as a reason for the bust-up.
