Mining magnate MP Clive Palmer’s penchant for arriving in style is well known.
Chances are, if it drives, floats or flies – he probably owns one.
After he cruised up to the steps of Parliament House last month in a Rolls Royce, attempting to make a point about MP vehicle entitlements, we started wondering: what other ostentatious boys’ toys are in the Palmer garage?

Mr Palmer attracted criticism in 2009 when he purchased a 98-foot Horizon yacht (just 12 feet smaller than the one pictured) for his daughter Mary.
Most boys try their hand at model planes at some point during their childhood. Clive, on the other hand, prefers the real thing. According to a report in The Australian his collection of planes includes two McDonnell Douglas MD-82s, a Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express and a Cirrus SR22T. Total price tag: close to $50 million.
Mr Palmer and his staff enjoy the luxurious interior of his private plane while on the campaign trail in the lead-up to the 2013 election.

Not all Mr Palmer’s vehicles are elegance-on-wheels. In fact, some of them could do with some serious body work.
Clive doesn’t just buy cars for himself. In 2010 he famously showered employees at his Yabulu Nickel Refinery with lavish Christmas bonuses – from holidays to brand new Mercedes B180 cars. He must’ve run out of room in his own shed.
Sure, he might have been photographed driving a Rolls Royce to door-knock at the homes of Aussie battlers in his electorate of Fairfax, but never accuse Clive of being out of touch with the common man. He can hoon around in a golf buggy as well as any Aussie battler. Although usually, most golfers don’t own the ground underneath their buggy.
Did we mention Clive also has dinosaurs? Well, he does. Just saying.
