Queensland police have issued an urgent call for help after a five-year-old girl was abducted from South Mackay this morning.

The girl is believed to have been abducted by a man and a teenager.

Police say the girl was taken from Tay Street, South Mackay, about 12.30am.

She may be travelling with the pair in a white Mitsubishi Magna with the Queensland registration number 353LVO.

The girl is described as being Caucasian with short blonde hair.
