Police are hunting for the murderer of a 16-year old Gold Coast boy who was fatally stabbed on Saturday evening.
Michael Brack knocked on residents’ doors for help after he was stabbed in a park at around 10pm in the suburb of Bundall.
Despite being given CPR by helpers, including a volunteer lifesaver, Mr Brack died on the nature strip just half a block from the park where he was stabbed.
Police are investigating promising leads and believe the boy’s killers were known to him, according to Fairfax.

Investigators have called for passengers in a white station wagon that dropped Mr Brack at the Bundall park to come forward, although they are not being treated as suspects.
No murder weapon has been found.
Multiple residents failed to answer their doors, saying the area was notoriously unsafe at night due to drug deals in the nearby park.
One couple returned home to find their front door covered in blood, reported the Courier Mail.
“I heard someone going ‘help me, help me’,” one woman told the Gold Coast Bulletin.
“There is a lot of drug dealing in the park’s public toilet down the road.
“You just wouldn’t know, there are a lot of dodgy characters.”
Residents told the Gold Coast Bulletin while the area was friendly and popular during the day, young people and hospitality staff were advised not to cut through the park at night.
Friends of the slain schoolboy took to Facebook to post tributes on Sunday as news spread of his death.
“Rip little bro im going to miss that cheeky smile,” wrote one user.
“Still can’t get my head wrapped around the fact we’ll never hear from you or see you again. You didn’t deserve this, no one deserves this,” wrote another.
