Woman found dead in home with two children inside

A woman has been found dead inside a house that had two children inside.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death in Cobram, on the border of Victoria and NSW, on Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to a home on Christie Avenue around 5am following reports a 32-year-old woman had been found deceased.

A 45-year-old man, known to the woman, has been arrested.

Detectives from the Homicide Squad will interview the man in relation to the woman’s death, said Victoria Police.

Two young children inside the address were not physically injured during the incident.
