Justin Trudeau’s charm has finally met its match in the form of a sassy toddler.
The Canadian prime minister was there to greet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their two children on the tarmac as they touched down in British Columbia, Canada for a week-long stay on Saturday.
But as he bent down to say hello to Prince George, 3, Mr Trudeau was met with a royally cold shoulder.
Watch Prince George snub Justin Trudeau below:
A swift shake of the head efficiently snubbed Mr Trudeau’s attempt to high five the future king.
He then tried a low five, another high five and finally a handshake, but Prince George refused to acknowledge Mr Trudeau on each occasion.
Hearts around the world broke for the shunned prime minister.

Prince George isn’t new to unconventional meetings with world leaders, after welcoming US president Barack Obama to England in his pyjamas in April.
The prince did at least shake Mr Obama’s hand, who later joked that the prince’s attire was “a slap in the face” and a clear breach of protocol.
