Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo has claimed third place in the United States F1 Grand Prix behind the Mercedes pair of winner Lewis Hamilton and second-placed Nico Rosberg.
With a fifth successive win and 10th for the season, Hamilton extended his lead in the championship over Rosberg to 24 points with two races left.

It was Hamilton’s 32nd career victory, beating the British record he shared with Nigel Mansell.
Ricciardo fought back from a poor start in his Red Bull car that dropped him from fifth on the grid to seventh to secure his podium result.
